In the tradition of General Systems Theory, Sridhar Nerur will advocate a transdisciplinary examination to extend the intellectual boundaries of software development. Session: Foundations of Agile. An Ideal Customer Angela Martin will describe the customer practices that have emerged to ensure the role works effectively and sustainably, and how the role has evolved from an individual to a team. The results are based on eleven case studies. Session: Product Owner. Overview of Agile Development Methods Pekka Abrahamsson will present a comparative review of agile development methods, focusing on project management support, life-cycle coverage, type of practical guidance, adaptability in actual use, type of research objectives and existence of empirical evidence. Session: Foundations of Agile. The Five Habits of Successful Lean Development Lean principles have been tried out in many companies. Mary Poppendieck will talk about what successful lean companies do to energize their workplace. Session: Kanban. Test Automation at Enterprise Scale Google has completely redeveloped its testing infrastructure. Using cloud infrastructure, testinging is fast and almost transparent. Mark Striebeck explains how developers can verify changes across the entire code base. Session: Testing. Agile Interaction Design and Test-Driven Development Frank Maurer will describe the development of GUI-based applications, from usability engineering and prototyping to acceptance test-driven development in an agile context.
